Chekken
Terms of Use
Last updated October 6, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Chekken app and this website. Chekken is made by Bryce Jackson. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Your license
You may use Chekken on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial play. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it to build a competing product.
In-app purchases
Piece sets, premium finishers and the pack are one-time, non-consumable purchases made through Apple. They unlock content inside the app and have no cash value. Apple handles payment and refunds under its own policies. Use Restore Purchases in the Arsenal to bring your items to a new device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Online play
Play fair. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with other players' games, or try to break or overload the service. We may end games or block access for anyone who does. Online play needs an internet connection and may change or be unavailable at times.
Content
The game, its art, music, sound and code belong to Bryce Jackson. The violence in Chekken is between chess pieces and is cartoonish and fictional.
No warranty
Chekken is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the app and are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from its use. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will always be on this page, with its date.
